Ken
Eskenazi is the founder and CEO of Innovation
To Industry (i2i). He started the company to fuse his passion
for a common cause (saving the planet) with common sense – waste
less, have more. i2i’s focus is bringing unique green products
and services to market. As one of the Connected Cos., i2i provides
creative sustainability strategies and marketing communications to
corporations, communities and government agencies. Eskenazi
believes that innovation is fueled by education, and to that end recently
completed a Lifecycle Analysis (LCA) course with ISSP. Principles,
frameworks and methodologies learned inform supply chain choices and
marketing communications strategies for both Rapioli and Walmart SI
vendors.
Ken’s 20 year career as a creative director for ad agencies
and design firms on both coasts allowed him to flex his managerial,
business and creative muscles on branding, advertising, packaging,
web and marketing. His wide range of clients include CAA, Coca-Cola,
Crystal Geyser, Disney, Goldman Sachs, McAfee, Mattel, the NBA, NewPage,
Oracle, Princess Cruises, Reebok, Sega, Sony, the USGBC, Warner Bros.
and many others. Engagements include branding and launching start-ups,
creating and producing environmental awareness campaigns, designing
sustainable packaging and developing online sustainability training
modules for the employees and residents of Green cities.
Most recently, Eskenazi was a cofounder and the creative lead at Clean
Agency, one of the first full-service integrated marketing firms to
view their engagements through a lens of sustainability. Clean received
national recognition for its efforts – including being named
a U.S. Top 25 LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) Agency
in 2006, being awarded a sizable development grant from the California
Department of Conservation and Recycler of the Year from the City
of Pasadena in 2007 and being designated a Hot Business by Entrepreneur
Magazine in 2008.
Eskenazi is an award-winning designer, with work in the Library of
Congress permanent collection. He lectures on sustainability topics
at colleges, corporations and conferences and has spoken at the United
Nations. Ken also enjoyed teaching graphic design courses at Art Center
College of Design and sustainable packaging at UCLA. Eskenazi is an
Advisory Board Member for the Sustainable Business Council and a member
of the SBC Forum, an active member of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce
Energy, Water and Environment committee and a graduate of the Executive
Program for Sustainable Business Management at the Presidio Graduate School
in San Francisco. |
